When I published my first book on Amazon in 2014, I did absolutely everything wrong.

I told my friends and family (who do not read time travel dystopia) that I had published my book and to please buy it.

I posted the link to my book on Facebook for my 150 followers.

And literally nothing else.

No ads. No promotion stack. No beta readers (except my writing group which was composed of people who didn’t read my genre). Nothing.

Book two in 2016 followed in like fashion. As did book 3 in 2017, etc. etc.

So it is objectively true that the Amazon algorithm hates me. It is equally true that hate is deserved.

Since the algorithm holds a grudge, I have to get around it.
